hey we were talking a thread about doing a run out to butcher jones July 9th!

i was thinking we could go to the little cliff between cove 1 and 2, swim, make some food and have some drinks or what ever.

if we have no prerunners i can take us through some really cool stuff. so its up to you guys!

Meet Place: Qt On Ellsworth and University....... and for the phoenix guys that want to take the 87, you can meet us at the butcher jones parking lot, right by the lake.
Time: Lets plan on leaving here at 10! so be there about 9:45 if you need gas or anything..........those of you meeting at the parking lot plan on being there about 10:15ish
The Plan: So we will wheel back to the cliff between cove 1-2 and hang out, swim, eat, drink what ever. if we dont have any prerunners we can go back through all the coves, and i will bring you guys to my camp spot, a cool hang out spot, ill unload all my camping stuff then we will keep on moving. we can go out through 4 peaks (oh shit hill) not very hard.

if anyone wants to camp out there saturday night please let me know.

    Directions coming from the 87.
Take the 87 highway to busch hwy, go south about 4 miles, you will pass a pretty big parking lot on your left. about a half mile past that you will come up on E Butcher Jones Beach rd. turn elft and go all the way down to the bottom. there will be a parking lot right by the lake. you can wait there for us. we will air down here.

some pictures for those of you who have never been there..

here is the spot that i camp at...

Got an maps of the area. I might be interested in coming. Give a link to both the meet location and the possible offroad area. I dont mind the drive to/from Tucson, just want a little more info on the trail and stuff.
