Just use a local glass replacement company. Dealer isn't going to do it anyway, they will sub it out.

See if your Ins. Co will cut the check. Most will replace for free if its bad enough to be considered a hazard.

    On my 2005 Tacoma:
I used Kudzu.com to find a glass company in my area. My insurance policy did not cover glass breakage. If I used Safelite the cost would have been $400. I used a local company & it cost $180. The new windshield is much better quality than the factory one.

anyone in AZ have recommendations on local guys? I'd prefer TW recommendations than just going off advertising and internet searches. I know there is differences in glass and I'm not sure how to make sure I don't get crap.

Where in AZ? This is the site I used in GA. You can read the customer reviews to get an idea about a business. They have a website for Phoenix area: http://www.kudzu.com/AZ/Phoenix/
