yeah 8th 9th work better for me but i still may be able to do a shift trade to make iton the 1st or 2nd. but if youre down to just go the 2nd thats what i may end up doing.

Yes, I did this trail in my 5lug, no lift, but I had some BFG All-Terrains. You should be fine.

I've seen some cars going up this route when the weather is clear. It will be fine if the weather is good. i.e. no snow or heavy rain.

 

Thanks. I know for a fact everyone should be fine. Stock 2wd 1st/2nd gens will be able to make it through the trail. I am looking forward to this camping trip.

BTW, we need to be clear about who will be camping out there and who is doing a day trip.

 

yeah there is nothing risky about this road. pretty much just a dirt road going up the mountain.

ill take pics when joel and i go up it on friday.

 

It's important to know that the drive up the mountain is a nice drive. Nothing to worry about. The main thing is to get up there and hang out/camp/have a good time with other tacoma owners. Stock guys can make it up no problem so don't let that deter you or anyone else from making the trip.

 

I have never been up the back way but I hear there is a troll that lives at the half way point. I hear he dosent let 2wd's through without anwsering 3 riddles and a test of manhood! Other than that you 2wd guys should be ok.
