Next AZ mod day - Saturday Oct. 8 2011

Looks like the next mod day for AZ folks will be on Saturday October 8, 2011 probably starting at 8am. I'll be happy to host this event as I have a garage plus a big driveway that holds 4 vehicles. Plenty of street parking, but be considerate of the neighbors. Lots of parking around the side of my house on the adjacent street. I'm located just north of 67th Ave. and Happy Valley Rd in Peoria.

I already PM'd my address and directions to everyone on the Attending list. If you are a late comer or I missed you, just shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up.


I don't have all the tools everyone needs, so we'll need to get folks to bring what they have. Here are some things that we'll probably need to have someone bring:

• A few sets of jack stands
• Floor jacks
• Spring compressor(s)
• Extra wrenches/sockets/hand tools
• ???

Food/Drink:

• We can grill or we can order pizza/food, whatever anyone wants
• I have a few coolers we can put drinks in, and I can provide some of the food/drinks

Work being done:

• Seabass - possible 886's, 9000 shocks, and Dakar leafs
• Greensystemsgo - badges and maybe murder rear tails, clean front, nothing major
• 97yota4wd - probably won't have his truck so will be our tool bitch
• hamNswiss on rye - probably rear billies, possibly coils/UCAs
• extremachn1 - lots of stuff, if parts come in
• xSectionxEightx - nothing, just helping others
• McJosh - just coming to watch
• TheGloryFades - nothing to work on but will lend a hand
• SGT Taco - diff breather, debadge or plasti dip, paint wheels black and satoshi grill
• motorsport36 - HIDs and red line hood struts
• OuTkAsT - billies on the rear
• Moose1988 - sound deadening, top plate spacer, finish some stereo wiring. Maybe do ABS killswitch and locker anytime mod
• lithous - maybe front struts
• staticsquelch - maybe diff breather mod
• Many more to list but I'm too lazy! Lots of variety going on for this one

no worries, MAYBE a jack, but its my old mans so its not very likely, im just not comfortable borrowing stuff.

 

I'll talk to my manager about taking that day off so I'm a maybe but I'll have an answer tonight hopefully.

Edit: if I can come I can bring a 3 ton Jack and jackstands

 

most likely in. probably wont have my truck so i wont have anything to do. but i can bring a basic tool set, an ezup, cooler and maybe some hot dogs

But I'd be down to come and annoy people!!

hey seabass, do you have a compressor? this will be so much easier with air tools, anyone have a medium compressor to bring also?

ive only worked on my first gen, but id imagine a second gen suspension wouldnt be much different so i can help do that with whatever.

and a 2 hour drive from toucson, just do it
