I wont be able to make this trail run. We are celebrating one of my friends birthday today. I was hoping to do this trail run and be back in time... but I am told the party begins when the Cardinals/Redskins starts. Kickoff is at 10am.

I'll be out on the next trail run...

OK guys, sorry it took so long to get some of my stuff up. I did not take many pictures and I have been trying to get my GPS track onto googlemaps.com or get a screen shot of my Garmin Basecamp but I cant seem to do it. Here are my pics and a crappy track from good earth but it dosent really show much.

Guys, put your pics up as well.

There are a TON of more roads I have been looking at on my 24K topo maps that we need to explore down south as well as reddington pass.

Sorry, your mom decided to feed me a couple of steaks after we went 5 rounds last night. Next time I'll take a GasEx. I want to take my sway bar off to see how much more comfortable the ride becomes.

Yea, pretty tame trail but there are a lot of spur roads going up the hills and down into the washes so I am sure there were some harder offroad trails in that area. There is one trail I especially want to try going the back way to the observatory that from the map looks pretty wild.

Yea, it was fairly easy. The 1st Gen is two wheel drive and there was only one place where he had problems. It was a steep hill, but with a little bit more of the loud peddle it made it up. Gorgeous up there, its quiet, and you can see for miles. Would be an epic place to camp.

Great pictures! That looks like a fun trail and a great day to go out. What is the FR number?

FR 143, it was a blast!
That was my first time *really* off road, since the back side of Mt. Lemmon is only a dirt road.

Yea, it was good times. I am glad you made it up that one hill. I think a little weight in the back and/or some better tires aired down a bit and you would have had no problem at all. Once we get another willing and capable 4x4 down here I want to explore around there more. I have been looking at my GPS and good earth trying to find more roads going up the mountain and down into some of those valleys and that place seems to be littered with them.

On a side note, once I get my suspension all set up I want to go back to that same ledge I am flexing on and get another picture and see how much more flex and articulation I get out of everything.

Looks good! I would love to see this sometime. I'm near Phoenix, but get to Tucson Rifle Range every month for NBRSA Match. Should be decent weather coming real soon!
