Yea, I planned on building an inner fender to keep stuff from blasting through the glass...

I also plan on getting the winch at the same time as the bumper.

They are only big if you dont have the power to turn them. I am supercharged and once regeared there will be no shortage of ability to turn the tires.

The differance is you did yours with a 6" lift. I am doing it with a 3" lift.

On a side note, anyone have experiance with the flex-a-lite kit for the tacomas? My fan shroud is busted at the bottom and my truck is running hotter (but not overly hot) due to inefficiantly pulling are. A new fan shroud is almost $300 from tacoma and the flex-a-lite kit is $350. I want peoples opinions who have them on how they hold up towing and offroading.

Yea, thats where the pre-runner fenders come from and more trimming of the cab mount and other items. Also when I get my armored front bumper it will have to be trimmed to fit.

I understand that but yeah if you don't mind beating some stuff back you will be good. I might go to 33's when I get my front kit on

caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc

you realize your going to need to do alot more cutting than you think right? when i go back to the shop on monday ill take pics to show you what i did so i can fit 33s and wheel spacers, i couldnt imagine going with 35s.

its going to be mroe than trimming plastic and beating stuff with a hammer.

i cut 2 inches out of my fire wall, beat it back, and welded it back together.

Nope, no system. Just the stock JBL and honestly I dont need a system. I am perfectly happy with the stock system and it rocks out jsut fine for me. Plus thats less stuff for people to steal from my truck.

I shouldnt have to cut the fire wall but I will have to trim the cab mount and pinch weld down to nothing and with the glass fenders and armored bumper trimmed I should fit jsut fine
