What to do with old leaf springs?

I've got some leaf springs off an 06 double cab. Do I throw them away or is there a market for these things stock?

 

The street truck crowd likes PreRunner springs not sure why

 

If you wanna cut them in half and grind off any sharp edges they made good tire irons for motorcycle tires.

I just started recycling metal in Florida, where I work we throw away so much and I am able to take advantage of their lazyness. Copper and aluminium are at a premium but it has to be clean, meaning nothing attached to it, no screws other metals. It a pain in the ass. I made some good money on plate aluminium and extruded (i am sure i spelled that wrong) but I have to stock pile the metal in the back yard and now do a trip once a month to see any real money, I just pick thing up when I see it, but there are a lot of guys in my area doing it for an extra source of income so I don't get too much extra.

 

I sold mine with 110,000 on them for 50 bucks on craigslist

 

I called the scrap yard and they're worth $8. It costs me $10 to get there and back. Should I do it???

 

Use them to workout with.

 

I sold my old 4 leaf pack for $100

 

Use them as lawn edging.

 

Make a bad ass slingshot or bow with them!

 

Change the springs on the Solo Flex.
