Just a bunch of old crap
I'm unable to go wheeling this weekend (been to Broken Arrow in Sedona and also 4 peaks in the past 2 weekends and the dog meet is this Sunday).

I love Horseshoe, don't get me wrong. I just don't know if you can get back behind the river without crossing it, and I wouldn't do it in any of our trucks even with a snorkel. It's too deep. If you keep going past the ranger station instead of turning on Bartlett Dam Road, you will get to Seven Springs in about 7 or 8 miles, then another 20 or so on to Bloody Basin road. All prerunner stuff though until you get to Sheep's Crossing bridge and that area out there. Then, you start to get into some good crawl spots.

Still say it is over rated at least for me. My truck gets everywhere I want it to with and more 2wd and when I have been stuck it is because I am some where I shouldnt be and i know better but do it anyway. Now for me if I had 4wd it would be the same situation only worse since i would be some where I souldnt be stuck in 4wd. My truck is 89 1/2 inches wide and in my opinion is to wide for a lot of 4wd trail. I cant justify the extra cost in axle and gears added weight and more things to break. If I want to go 4wd trail running I will just drive my 89 4wd.

true that. im just biased for 4wd because you get the best of both worlds and you dont have to worry about getting stuck in a wash.

are you stuck in that picture? thats deep as hell

Yes and no and it was deep that pic was coming out of it. Made it through till just after that picture and then damaged a tire. So had to be pulled to hard dirt to put on the spare.[IMG]
