So what was the code that was coming up is all I would want to know? I'm going with Jake, that answer they gave you seems rather sketchy.

 

Its not, they ran codes. charcoal cans do that on occassion. Ran the light because the pressure reading werent right because the can wasn opening and closing right.

And wierd, toyota doesn wire their tbp sensor in coorelation with the brake sensor like most manufacturers (granted they do now after the unintended accel debacle) but they do wire trac cont to shut down if an engine light comes on....damn japs

You are misinformed. My truck, according to the VIN and this label, was born in Fremont CA in March of 2010.
