OK guys, it really is time for me to get a new phone.

Do I stick with Samsung (galaxy 5?) or should I try the new HTC?

I am with T-mobile, so my options are pretty limited.

If anyone says Apple, I am going to F$$king slap you the next time I see you.

I'm thinking of trying it out. I've wanted a sg or ug but I've done some more research on torque app and it looks cool.

Yes I run torque. I recommend a tablet or a rooted phone where you can adjust the Dpi settings.

I was thinking of a refurbed tablet. Idk what the Dpi settings are? I'm just starting my research.
Where could I find the OBDII reader? Amazon? Any matter?

Amazon for OBD reader. Doesn't need to be expensive one. I use the cheap $20 one and have no issues. dpi is dots per inch. Different numbers give you more screen real-estate. My phone stock is 320dpi. Large icons and screens.. I run 100mph and get tons more screen space. 240 works good on tablets.

Yes. It's standard Bluetooth communication so it will work on any device that supports BT

Thanks, but I think im going to be looking for something cheaper since that is all it would be used for. I cant justify 200 for a reader only. Thanks though!

Could I get a mini obd reader? Like this:http://www.amazon.com/iSaddle-Bluet...qid=1417991705&sr=1-3&keywords=obd2+bluetooth

How do I go about changing dpi? Depends on the tablet I'm assuming.

That mini should work just fine.. all it needs is BT.

The DPI is changed via rooting the device.

Lets rant about how much Windows 8 sucks ass.

I go to update to 8.1 on a Surface Pro RT. It says "The installation cannot be complete because you have a slow internet connection"

    Oh really?

Stupid Microsoft. What is the thing you hate the most about this OS?

Been dreading updating my pc to windows 8.1 since XP isn't supported anymore. It hasn't been turned on in months though, so I'm not worried.

Doesn't matter that its not supported, I still run a few XP boxes and they run better than 8.1 I wouldn't update to 8.1 ever. Wait till Windows 10 drops. If M$ history is accurate, 10 should be a decent OS.

    Windows History:

    3.1 - awesome
    95 - sucked
98 - good (better once SE dropped)
    ME - Sucked major ass
    XP - awesome-sauce
    Vista - sucked
    7 - great OS
    8 - sucked balls
    10 - ???? Should be good.

Maybe I don't do much with my computer, but I don't have any issues with 8.1
