Unfortunately. I would love to go sometime, but can't risk a R&P. Not right now anyways. Haha.

The 4Runner is locked in the rear right? I think it's the factory lockers that are blowing up R&Ps.

Ours are both elockers. Not air. We are hoping to go air sooner than later. She'll be regeared before I do as her runner needs it more. At that same time we'll be getting air lockers.

You'd be just fine in Moab, just keep the locker use to a minimum.

I broke a front axleshaft in Moab, but I was being stupid with too much skinny pedal.

Just keep it in 2wd and only engage lockers 4x4 etc when needing it. Out of all the trucks out there. The carnage isn't that bad in my mind. Well except the rolled truck. But that seems to happen every year atleast one truck

Moab wouldn't be the same without you :( We will have to figure that out! Maybe we can get Prise up there too! A cubed!!

The sandstone up there is like driving on rough grit sandpaper. Traction is great on most of those trails, but it's bad for lockers.

Hopefully everything works out well for him!

I have a couple things planned, but its more family orientated. I'm thinking end of July lets plan something up north.

I'm game for 2016. Tried to go this year, but the buggy isn't done. Was going to the backup plan in the 4Runner until I broke my arm/shoulder 2 weeks ago.

High traction on the Moab Slickrock (so named for steel horseshoes slipping on it) takes a different technique compared to most places. Add east coasters and NW wet weather wheelers, carrying a ton of expo gear, in a large crowd wanting to impress/show-off/keep-up = stuff letting go. They were expecting close to 100 rigs, so the percentage is on the low side.

    I love trailering though!

I'm definitely in for 2016 either way. Anyone who doesn't want to wheel their trucks can always ride with someone. And there are easy trails and challenging trails, just like here in AZ.
