There used to be a couple barbed wire fences running across it between I-10 and Patton Rd, sometimes with a spot to cross or you'd have to leave the Hassayampa to find a crossing nearby. I don't know how it is today. Once you get closer to Morristown it gets hilly and rockier... you might make it to Gates road just outside Morristown. Above Gates road the river is blocked, which is about 8 miles south of Wickenburg. I hope you're able to try it and report back.
