Just got back from my Javelina hunt in 21 and didn't see a damn thing, hardly any sign out there either. Everyone we talked to sounded like they were in the same boat too, only heard 2 or 3 shots all weekend that weren't obviously someone plinking. Thats 2 years in a row this has happened to us in 21 so I'll be putting in elsewhere next year.

Put in for early Antlerless Elk in 10 and 6a also and planning a Coyote trip shortly.

Where are you planning on doing your coyote trip? I have a buddy who just got done trying to fill his Javalina tag out in Tonto area and didn't get shit either.

Good thing I didn't go Javalina hunting this year haha.

I'm not sure yet. I honestly haven't hunted varmint very much, just kinda screwing around during other hunts and even then I'm not very well versed with big game. Been a bird guy all my life until recently.

We have a connection in 21 east Cordes Junction that owns a couple sizable pieces of private land about 9 miles apart with leased FS land in between. The only way to access the remote homestead is through the main ranch and most are timid to pass through it so we basically had the south end of 21 to ourselves this weekend and still didn't see a thing.

Edit: Good meeting you today Brody

If you're willing go down south, any of the 36s have tons of javi, especially 36A. Never been skunked there... eventually got bored and stop putting in.

Well that is a good hookup right there, unfortunately you didn't see anything. That sucks.

Yeah definitely man, I appreciate the input and I am sure I will have plenty more questions for you here in the near future.

I feel like a failed coyote hunter. I was pulling out of my neighborhood and I saw one crossing the street. I almost killed a coyote with my taco:rofl:

I used to night hunt for coyotes, bobcats and badgers years ago in Nevada. It was a kick but you could use rifles. Now in Arizona only shotguns are allowed. That's up close and personal!!!!!
