Paint shops, prefer east valley

I am wanting to get my hood re-painted because of sun damage, I dont think the previous owner took care of the paint. I got a quote for $700 to get it to where I would like it. The price included sanding down the hood, painting and blending the hood and fenders to match.

I got a quote from Red Mountain Collision in Mesa (near my work), as I previously mentioned they quoted me $700, does that seem a bit expensive to you? I was thinking it seemed a bit high.


Any places you can recommend for a decent price that does a good job (I would prefer east valley).


Do you think I should wait a few months until August/September, that way it's one less summer that the new paint will have to endure?

Got an air compressor and a garage? We have a guy who can hook you up with painting. He did stuff on my truck and its fantastic.
