    Looking for a good spot that my prerunner can make it to no problem. I live in the chandler/mesa area. I've heard about 4 peaks but my uncle says it always crowded, and I'd prefer to go out and be on my own withy buddies, also would only like to travel out an hour max. Thanks!

    Little far but north miller road off I10 in buckeye. i was there last weekend no problems.
    As far as ranges go, Ben Avery shooting range.
    I'm sure there are areas in the south near you. But those two are where I go.

    I was just out west of lake pleasant and it was still open. A ranger even stopped by before we started and just said to be careful

    Decent place to shoot but practically a shooting range on weekends. Anyone looking for some solitude will be disappointed.
