Hey guys. So I have a nasty almost 3-foot crack in my 1st gen. windshield and want to get it replaced ASAP. But I'm looking for a windshield without the stock blue tint strip and as close to OEM quality as possible. Anyone know of any glass replacement companies in the Phoenix Metro area that have this kind of windshield?

honestly.. I would just use Safelite.

I've tried 2 different local/small companies.. and have been disappointed with both. I'll be using Safelite next.

    This.

Safelite gave me a bad front windshield. Whenever it got wet it spotted up and you couldn't see through it. They replaced it right away, sent out another guy to inspect the new glass and he didn't approve so they replaced that one. Also paid me back for my stickers that were on the shitty glass they gave me. Top notch service. I won't use anyone else other than Safelite.

I've been told by a long time glass guy that Pilkington is quality replacement glass.

Thanks I'll definitely check out Safelite. By chance, does anybody know if they offer Pilkington glass?
