Anyone know of any local companies that builds plate bumpers and skids and stuff for our tacos that isn't going to cost me a kidney. side note...There is a dude posting on CL for "custom" bumpers that wants a minimum of 1300 for a bumper.

I'm in the market for some armor and thought it would be nice to keep the $ in the state and support a local business.

So far it's looking like I may have to send that $ out of state.

hamnswiss (az member) tells me that Avid offroad is a local shop where the guy basically works out of his own garage. His truck had some of his stuff on it and it looked pretty sweet. Tell him you're wanting to be in state and see if he'll work with you.

Although Andrew is down here in Tucson, KMF is a good option for sliders. I haven't purchased mine yet as I have had some unexpected expenses pop up, but everything in the thread looks killer and folks highly recommend KMF. No plate bumpers yet, but I'm hoping they will be in the works soon too. I have PM'd him a few times and he's a great and helpful guy!

    Thanks for the quick replies.

Avid doesn't do any plate bumpers or skids unfortunately, at least not from his website.

As for Andrew, I've pinged him a few times too about doing a bumper. I already have a set of his sliders on my rig. He is a bit out there for me but well worth it!
