AZTW Camping Trip?

UPDATE: As of right now (10-14) November 14th is looking like the best option for most, it give plenty of time to get off work and the weather will be awesome. Again there is a ton of area out there for everyone to enjoy both 2WD and 4WD.

Here is some info I posted throughout the thread, the camp site might change as I would like to find somthing a little further off the main trail but oh well.

If people want to camp both nights that is fine.

Honestly, i'd rather go up north to Strawberry...but camping does sound good.

2 things that make me lean towards the tucson area (Im not bias either way since I too like the strawberry area and would love to camp there)

1. the strawberry/ fossil creek area like what shootermcgavin showed pictures of is extremely busy on the weekends and it would be hard to find a sizeable camp site able to accomodate the number of trucks that have shown interest

2. there are 5 or 6 trucks in the tucson area that would attend, the northern arizona contingent is slim at best, adam is the only guy I can think of and technically strawberry is still a 2 hour drive for him.

yea ill post it up, John and I are gunna wheel down here on the 3rd so ill grab some pics of the spot too. I need to verify that that "2WD road" really is 2WD friendly too I made it probably a mile down and it reminded me alot of the New River run without the mud

I threw down Nov 14th with saturday. That's only pending if I come back it AZ early like i'm supposed to be though (mid oct) otherwise if that falls through I won't be back to Nov 30th so... yea. I'd be down with that for sure, not sure what my hours are but I suspect I should be off work sat around 6pm-ish.

afterthought;

I would lit would be rad to camp up on the top of Mt. Lemon near the pie place. Its foresty, and I'm sure there is something up there to wheel (been years since I been up there).
