Geeze how did I miss this thread...Well I cant go during the week but weekends are good for me Saturday or Sunday. I was thinking about going to rolls on MLK (Jan 18th) day as I have it off from work and school. Or if we wanted to go somewhere else that day too it would be ok by me.

Just FYI, things for me are going to get crazy here in the next few months I'm getting married in March and getting into my new house (fingers still crossed) on Feb 10th. So I may out of the action for a couple month due to new life starting. So let's get some stuff going soon!

I'm still on the fence about going tommorow or not. If I'm looking at that map right, we'd only be going down the steps not back up right? Honestly from my experience at Butcher Jones.... Getting back up might be hard even with my locker on a 2wd. If we have a 4x4 going with then I'd be cool with it but if it's just some prerunners.... yea.....

For now unfort it looks like its just me and I know I know the rule never wheel alone. Ill make sure I bring plenty of extra supplys like a few extra wheels and such

 

TBH if no 4x4 is going with us I'm pretty skeptical about going out there man. If I'd ran it before that'd be one thing (ala butcher jones) but I'd hate to get stuck out there on a weekday, when it's that cold out, probably not many other vehicles out there on the deadest trail in Sedona. So, if someone with 4x4 goes I'm down but... otherwise I'm gunna have to skip out :/

Also with all the recent storms and such, it's probably washed out pretty good... including New River...

 

My brother and me ran most of old homestead last week (took a wrong turn and came out by 89A). We were planning on running it the next day but decided to go run Broken Arrow since it was cold and wet so no pink jeeps were out.

Make sure you keep a close eye on the directions in the book there are a lot of little off shoots. Good luck and have fun!

 

Id love to go with you guys but I'm down here in Tucson and I work mids from 1100PM to 0700AM. But if there are any other wheeling opportunities around Tucson or closer to Phoenix. Let me know!!!!
