My wife got a kick ass deal for some diamond resort in scottsdale on groupon. We plan on coming down end of july. Ikea is a must while we are there. But what about other attractions? Dining recommendations? Thanks guys.

There's so much to do. Which hotel are you going to be at? Lots of fun stuff in Old Town Scottsdale (like Scott said), North Scottsdale, downtown Tempe by ASU, etc. Lots of good restaurants, bars, comedy clubs and whatnot. Just let us know what you're into and plenty of suggestions are bound to follow.

You can leave scottsdale and come to Tempe... Lol Mill ave. Tempe town lake. Tempe marketplace. For food, scottsdale is ok, everything else... F it. I've never been a fan. If your going to eat there, check out Bandera, Houston's, Roaring Fork, if you really want to drop some money, go to City Hall. IKEA is right over here by me, off Warner and the I-10. Regardless, enjoy Az man! Let us know if you need anything.

tons and tons of stuff to do here. like everyone has already said, old town is fun and lots of variety down there. New comedy club opened up in downtown PHX (really nice actually) and alot of VERY good comics have been coming thru. alot of national acts. so maybe check that out also. New place in north scottsdale(scottsdale quarter) fancy movie theater(eat and drink alcohol) clubs, shops, desserts. just kinda what your feeling up to.

Tempe is better IMO for that. They are obtainable. snottsdale girls are stuck up and rude. Well.. mostly everyone over there is. I've just had bad experiences over there. I come from a tiny was town. Typical everyone knows each other, polite, country town. To each their own tho right. Downtown Chandler is pretty sweet too.
