So I made it to the meet on the 25th but I only got a chance to talk to acouple people then I had to leave, looked like a nice turn out and a good time. Anyone who's up for the corral run is welcome to join me and acouple cruiser buddies and maybe acouple jeepers. We are gona run the corral from the 87 to Bartlett marina. Details are not worked out yet, but we usually rally round 9 to 10am at sycamore creek entrance(bush highway meets highway 87)for a run like this. I will update more specifics as we get closer to the 8th if anyone is interested

Thanks Disco. Do you go out pretty frequently? Doing some overhaul on the front end and adding some toys. Defiantly going to want to make some trips while the weather has been beautiful.

Having hard time getting good pics from friends and I lost all I had in my old phone. These are a bit of the rock garden wich the last time I was there was mostly filled in with sand from the monsoons and one from a big campout at the lake

There's one fall in the beginning that can cause an issue for some. If there is water flowing it can make it slick and add a little challenge. It was a fun trail I thought. I might be in for this run. Have to see what's going on next weekend.

OP how many vehicles going you think so far?

Not sure the last time anyone was there but last October it was nearly 2wd friendly. The rains from late summer had washed sand into all of the rocky areas toward the base of the run. Still a great run but not nearly as challenging as it can be. Hopefully you have had some weather to tear it back up a bit.
Have fun guys, if you camp at the lake bring mackerel, they were on fire for a few hours as the sun went down last visit.

Ya was shocked to see like 4' of sand filled it in so there was just the last ledge to climb that was it. I shouldv been more detaled but with my 31" tires b4 monsoons I got some body damage and had to stack a lot of rocks, just some 33's would have helped a lot. But its not my dd I didn't care I loved it

This is the last run from a few months ago. You can see that there was not a ton of difficult obstacles but enough to keep you entertained. Could be completely different by now though.

Just a bunch of old crap
How are you planning to get around to the marina? You'd have to cross the river below the dam, and it's too deep to cross. This is an in/out trail or you can get to the beach on the east side of the lake ACROSS from the marina and take the powerline road south. We didn't do the powerline road so I can't vouch for its condition. We went in/out Log Corral. It was in the best condition apparently it's been in for a while, with lots of sand filling in the nastier obstacles. We haven't had much weather to change it, but it's still a gamble every time.

I may be interested in doing this one again.

This looks like an awesome trail and I'd love to run it... but I think I'll have to pass this round until I get my steering rack sorted out and some other tasks. Have fun and be safe gents!
