Man, Palm Springs / Palm Desert is out there by itself in the desert. Some o.k. resorts. Good golfing. There is some sort of hillside Gondola ride. I think there is a Casino near by now. It will be warm.

Will you be in that area exclusivley your whole vacation?

I went to Palm Desert a few times for meeting 10-12 years ago. Truthfully, not much to do. Maybey you could sneak away to one of the LA beaches (Manhatten, Hermosa, Hunnington) for the day. Lot's to do in LA as well. Traffic sucks though.

i think we are planning a one day trip to a beach, not sure which one though. it will still be nice to get away from ohio for a week even if there isnt much to do there.

Washougal looks like an awsome track! That is on my to-do list down the road.

    I've been to:

Red Bud- Very cool atmosphere, nice track

    Hangtown- Solid

    Thunder Valley- good, not great

    Glenhelen- Freaking Awesome!
