We've recently made up a set of Cargo Rails for the bed and thought I would post them up in case anyone else wants a set.

They mount to the existing tie down tracks on each side but transfer the weight of whatever is mounted to them to the bed sides. This allows you to mount heavier objects to them without worry of tearing up the track system. The possibilities are endless as to what can be mounted, anything from a simple light bar with high lift mount, to spare tire holder, cargo basket, or even a roof top tent for those explorers! Bars are constructed of 1 1/2" square tube.

( bars are not mounted in pictures, just set in place)

We can do these individually or in sets, can be made level with the bed (as pictured), or raised up above bed level. Will come with everything needed to mount but in bare steel thus allowing you to apply the surface coating of your choice.

price as pictured is $150 for the pair plus shipping. so obviously if you only wanted one crossbar then it would only be $75 plus shipping.....

What are you using to mount them to the rails?

    Two questions:

    - Will these be offered as a regular item? I want a pair, but don't have the scratch just this minute.

    - Price?

yes these will be offered up anytime.. we can also add tabs for light mounts or antenna mounts is needed.

the current set of bars uses a piece of metal that slides into the rails and has holes tapped out so all you do is slide them in, then drop the bars on and snug down the bolts.. simple one wrench installation. plus they can be loosened up and slide back and forth without completely removing them.
