Exclamation ATO Dual Battery Tray - 05+ Tacoma's

We are happy to finally be able to release the 05+ Tacoma Dual Battery Tray!!!

This is a drop in tray that securely holds 2 group 34 Optima batteries in the stock location. There are no major modifications required to install the tray and only typical hand tools are required. This is for those of you who have large electrical demands including winches, large stereo systems, and lots of aftermarket lighting.

At this time we are just offering up the tray system however in the near future we will offer a complete setup that will include the tray and a dual battery controller setup as well.

Tools Required:
Hand Drill
3/8" Nut Driver
7/32" Allen Wrench
7/16" socket and wrench
Sharp razor knife or Dremmel tool
The ability to wire up new battery connections!!

We will be running an introductory sale on these for 2 weeks. This sale will be done similar to a group buy however there is no minimum or maximum number on the orders. All orders placed within the 2 week period will receive the discounted pricing however we will not begin production until the sale is over so expect 2-4 week delivery time after the close of the sale.

These will ship out bare steel and will require paint or powdercoat.

Introductory Sale price - $150 plus shipping
Normal Pricing - $175 plus shipping
BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED!!!!!

I still need to test fit the finished pieces to determine what size box they will need, however they will ship USPS Priority and at a maximum shipping should be no more than $15 inside the US.

To order put your name onto the list and I will contact everyone to take payments when the sale ends in 2 weeks.

Here is an example of the setup totally wired up utilizing an IBS dual battery controller.

Also as you can see in the second picture this setup has been confirmed to fit with a TRD supercharger as well!

Awesome. I will be definitely looking into this. My dual yellow tops are in desperate need of a pretty tray. Any pictures of the bottom of the tray?

Thanks!

Thanks guys!! Took awhile to get it all squeezed in there but it works and doesn't interfere with anything else.

Here's a shot of what it looks like just before you install the batteries. The radius on the corners is a bit off on this one but will be fixed on the first batch.

(forgive the horrible lighting, half was in the sun and half was in the shade)

Not sure what his response will be to that, but it would be easier to remove the headlight than the battery in that scenario.

There's enough clearance for them to not interfere with each other but not enough to change the bulb. Yes it would be a bit of a pain to change out but honestly how often do you have to replace headlight bulbs?

Thanks however it's more than one piece of metal. There's a base plate that gets mounted to the truck which has to be cut and formed, then another piece which sits spaced up on top of that which the batteries sit on which has to be cut and retainers added to the sides to prevent the batteries from sliding off, then the top hold down plate which must be cut and finally all the hardware to go with it.

And this isn't necessarily a mod for everyone, unless you've added several accessories that use a lot of power dual batteries aren't needed. However the added bonus of being able to jump start yourself without even opening the hood is just plain pimp! . Lol

Not that I have the $$ now but the price is pretty comparable to the one offered by columbiaoverland.com if you order it in the first few weeks. Also if it's ATO you can pretty much count on it being bullet proof.
