    like i said, shot stock springs with an AAL. shock doesn't bottom out with the mini bumps, so i'm just squeezing all of the travel out of them that i can, untill i to a total overhaul with a bedcage and potentially relocated spring mounts.

    Ah ok, it is a factory spring. Then honestly that isn't too bad. If anyone has actually ever looked at the factory overload spring you'll know right away that Toyota was ok with negative arch, and a fair bit of it, on their springs.

    Negative arch on springs is no worry really unless you travel past the elastic limit.

    It only happens when wheeling, which is a tiny tiny percentage of a trucks miles. Doesnt accelerate wear any more than other aspects of wheeling do.

    On modern springs this is true. The rule of thumb came from the old mini trucks, where negative arch IS bad for the springs.
