I'd like to offer up to you guys a deal on the new front skid plates we're offering...

the skids are made from 1/4" plate, thus making them the beefiest front skid plate on the market for the 2nd gen Tacomas... they use 6 factory mounting locations directly to the frame and cover everything from the front crossmember back behind the front axle... they also incorporate an opening for the oil drain plug so there is no need to remove them to service the vehicle. they are entirely laser cut and cnc bent for maximum precision.

the intro price will be $289 for the first 10 orders plus shipping. they come painted in a satin black finish which is easily touched up because lets face it... its a skid and its going to get beat up right! estimated shipping costs are approximately $50

can you show pics with the t-case skid "following". I want the full meal deal

I'm in. Although I'd like to have my order at #10 because I might move south and not have to deal with Canadian shipping hassle :) I also need to get my exhaust rerouted so I'm far from in a rush.. but I am so happy with my rear bumper that I will change my current all-pro skids and bumper with your products as they become available.

at the moment i dont have one here at the shop made up.. as soon as i do i will post a picture of the whole set though..

but just to give you a visual there is the front skid.. at the back of the front skid there will be about a 2" rise that is angled at 45 degrees, then it will be flat from there all the way back to the tranny crossmember.. then from there it starts angling up gradually to the end...

the whole set will provide a solid smooth flowing bottom to allow one to slide the truck over any obstacle that you cannot clear without doing any damage to the vital components of the truck... it provides as much clearance as is possible without beginning to modify other significant components of the truck.

if i could get one in the shop..... i wonder how closely the frames follow each other from 95.5 to 04.... i know they are basically the same trucks but with the few subtle differences i wonder if all the mounting locations would be the same.

is there space to make a high clearance crossmember under there, or mech. components are in the way?

with my DCLB I would gain much more breakover angle with this crossmember higher

most likely $325 after the intro deal... i realize that puts them slightly higher than most front skids but there's alot more skid here than most...
