Well don't buy from BODY ARMOR 4X4 when selling off ebay. Just did a front bumper order for $721.49 and 2 days later I was refunded my money. Better yet the asking price went up to asking $2000. Claimed there now out of stock yet theres 11 still up for grabs on multiple ads

Bought a rear bump as well. Looking to get that refund to.

Haha, I'm not that good at photoshop to do that. I used Rustoleum bed liner. Turned out pretty good.

I got the bumper installed minus the lights, I'm still waiting for one set of lights...

I'd also guess that the bumper is only around 100 lbs ish...

The instructions do not mention any torque specs. If any of you are using 1/2 X 13 grade 8 hardware, what are you torqueing everything to?

I am not going to install a winch for awhile, if ever, and I'd like to cover the winch mounts. Does anyone know of a license plate bracket that mounts to the winch mount bolts? I don't want to drill anymore holes.

Here is a picture of the bumper installed:

Are those 4 bolt hole not for a license plate? If not, what are they for?

Nope, those are the mounting locations for the forward mounted winch feet. Much wider than the license plate bolts. I wish it was that easy!

Interesting. I haven't seen that before. It cant be hard to fab a bracket to use those holes though.

None, might do a off road Tire Rim combo, if anyones looking to sell some in SD...
So, I ripped my bumper off on the fence this weekend in a rush, and broke 7 plastic clips, the plastic bumper, the plastic lower fender flair supports ect. This makes me hate plastic bumpers even more then I did before.

I see the after market metal bumpers listed here, but they don't match the truck at all. 2nd Gen Tacomas have curves, not angles. Where's a chrome, factory matching style metal bumper? Why so many hard angle bumpers? I want a stock looking matching chrome bumper, like the rear. Why is nobody making this, or have I just not found it yet?

I haven't seen any stock metal bumpers for the front. This one is still pretty angled, but I think (minus the hoop) this is as close as you can get to matching if you want metal...

No after market company is going to spend the money on the tooling that would be required to form a rounded bumper. ARB is probably the closest to having curves instead of angles.
