Over a year wait is ridiculous for a bumper. And as far as I know he isn't taking any new orders anyways

But a year though? The bumpers have got to be within .001" tolerance then.

Only because they ordered wrong, mate only 2 were actually wrong from the order. Mine came exactly how I ordered it and on time so I'm happy with it.

I think I found a nice place for them. Unfortunately had to buy different lights to fit there though lol.

Elite is the nicest damn bumper made for first gens, it just looks soo clean. But I don't understand what the delay on them is about.

If money were no option, I'd go Relentless. IMO, that's the baddest bumper made, but everyone's got different opinions. I'm happy with my Trail Gear bumper; it's extremely well-build and very strong. I'm gonna go with one of Chad's for the rear, though; dude has some amazing welding skills

Tis the way of the world. It may be worth the wait, its my favorite bumper thus far, the others I'm looking at are more for the smaller delay or lower cost because they offer the DIY option- put my MIG to work and help pay itself back.

Thanks man! Just wait till I release a front bumper! Most may not like it but if it comes out anything like what I have drawn in my head it should be pretty sweet! I will use a mount similar to how TG or Addicted wrap around the frame ends but it will be bolt on, though id recommend welding it on. Main reason I will be doing it like that is well for me I beat the living shit out of my truck and I feel it helps strengthen the front end of the frame of the truck as well as gives a solid foundation to a future SAS as I used it for and it will have integrated Skid mounts as well just like mine did... Ive got some plans just gotta get to it, I don't just build armor at my shop, I full blown take on build projects and do lift installs, SAS's, 4wd conversion, etc. etc. so some of my building gets thrown to the backburner but im sure ill come up with something different when the time comes as my whole goal is to be different. Who wants to pull up beside another taco and see the same armor you have

Because he works as a med tech or something like 80+ hrs a week and then he hired people to complete the bumpers and they couldn't do it right

They're just there for recovery. I think that's the best recovery point b/c it keeps you from ripping something off your truck. I didn't have one for my front bumper and I got stuck and had to wrap a chain around my bumper and it got scratched. If I would've had a shackle, I could've prevented that

The recovery points in most cases or at least I do mine this way are tied into the frame plates so when you pull from them your not pulling from the center which may be braced back to the frame plates as well but more likely to warp the face of the bumper pulling from the center of the bumper rather than the sides. If do don't plan to do much offroad or you pick your lines right in most cases a hitch recovery would be perfectly fine. I used one for a year or so before I started building and I just prefer having them on the frame and will usually use a 10' strap hooked to both then put the tow strap to the vehicle being recovered so im pulling from both sides of the truck plus this allows the shackle to ride along the 10' strap similar to how a trailer is on a receiver ball.. If that makes any sense what so ever

Makes perfect sense. Thanks. Dual d ring shackle mounts back in the design.
