Finally done cleaning up my setup!

I'm finally done with cleaning up my CB/Scanner setup!!!



I had to dremel out part of the ashtray mount so I could put the scanner there, but it turned out pretty nice overall!

Looks great! Nice clean set up. Where you gonna hang the mic for the cb?

 

dont know yet...may hang it up either on the side of the cupholders or up by my alarm light...i don't use it unless i'm offroading.

 

Nice I wish my cb would fit there but its way too wide...

 

Yeah, I had a cobra 29 LTD...I think...and that sucker was huge! I bought the Cobra 18 cuz I wanted something that would fit in the dash.

 

Yea mine is a Cobra 25, its a little narrower than the 29 but not much. How does your current cb put out compared to the 29?

 

haven't tested it out yet...still waiting on a right angle adapter for the antenna...it wont fit in the back without the adapter. And no one carries it...had to order it online... I'm assuming its going to be a little weaker, but my 29 was pretty good with how I had it set up before.

 

Now its complete!! right angle adapter came in for the CB antenna and I installed my mic!

 

In that position the mic doesn't mess with your right knee?

 

nope, its far enough away that I never hit it. I'd have to be sitting right up on the steering wheel for it to hit me. left room for the e-brake to move also. lol
