I have two old Rockford Fosgate Punch 60.2's that I have from my Gen1 Tacoma. I was thinking of using line out converters and replaceing the door speakers with eith 6.5 coaxial or 6.5 components. The 60.2 is 30x2 RMS and it powerd RF components in the Gen1. The other powered a 10: RF sub. Some simple deadener behind the speakers in the doors.

I am not looking for the ultimate sound. I am looking to keep the factory look and give my ears a tad bit more clarity.

Any thoughts on how this would sound?

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Those RF are underpowered...it will sound good. Go for it.

When you say underpowered do you mean the amps push out more than the RMS? If so, that is most likely true. I can't find the birthsheets, but those punch's were always good amps back in the late 90's.

Correct but I should have said underrated.
