Does anyoe know the wattage on teh JBL system in our tacos?

Also I was wondering two things.

    Q1

if anyone had bypassed the factory sub and put in an aftermarket amp to the stock sub? ie. cut the lead wires going to the factory sub then used those leads as your speaker wires to connect to your aftmarket amp?
(i would want to do this to have adjustability of the sub via my aftermarket deck.)

    Question 2

has anyone put in aftermarket speakers on our JBL systems How does the sound compare and is it worth it?

Any pictures of what our JBL speakers look like vs the non JBL?
