New to the Forum and wanted to get some opinions about getting the Grom unit or just putting in a new headunit.

I really love the steering wheel controls, and don't want to lose the functionality. My arms are long enough to control the headunit, so it isn't a matter of "needing" the wheel controls, but I hate having buttons that don't do anything. So I was curious if people have HU's that work with factory wheel controls.

    Suggestions?

You can use aftermarket adaptors. The JACK only does Bluetooth answer as a button/funtion (no voice input button capability) but the other 2 buttons can control other things if you have buttons on the right side.

I have the grom with the wire routed to the ipod in the center console. For the price, it gets the job done for me.
