Pioneer AVH-P4200 Installed!

Same radio, havent installed it yet.

I am curious as to how the glare is on the head unit from the sun? Does it make it harder to see?

 

Yes I understand that part, but some units can either navigate or play DVD, not both at the same time. thats my question, is the NAV DVD or memory,SD etc?.

jd, the sun does make it hard to see some times, but no more than other screens Ive seen. You can get screen protector films for it, but I dont know if they would help or make it worse.

However, I don't see anywhere that says it will or wont work while playing a dvd. I would guess it wont, because its basically another source.

 

The AVH-4200 looks great in your dash. Good Work. Does anyone have XM sat radio with their AVH unit? How does it display song titles and artist names. Does it scroll or cut off long names?

Thanks. I saw a dash kit where the top kind of folded out like an inch to create a shadow. I thought I saw it here on TW.

 

How well does the UI respond? Is there any lag?
