Sorry i am sure this has been talked about but i can not find it.

I am installing a new system head unit speakers amp and sub box. Okay my questions is about the speaker wiring. I do not need to get a speaker harness if i am running an amp? I am assuming that the amo will feed the speakers. I am trying to get together all the harnesses together now before i start the build.
