I just bought a set of kicker 6.5" componenets and a kicker amp with high level inputs to push them. What are your suggestions as the easiest way to get the signal to the amp. Should I buy the hi to low level adapter or run the wires straight to the amp. Also if anyone could point me to the wiring codes that would be great. I have an 07 reg cab if you are wondering. Thanks!

if it has high level input just get the plug and tap into the speaker wires behind the radio.

    left front (+/-) pink/purple
    right front (+/-) lt green/blue
    left rear (+/-) black/yellow
    right rear (+/-) red/white

Also I plan on mounting this amp under the seat if that matters.

ok. those are the codes I was looking for. I have always had bad luck doing it that way but if those colors are right then I should be able to do it. Any recomendations for wire gauges. I normally use the big stuff for my subs but don't have much experience with smaller stuff. 16 gauge?

also this is a single cab so I assume the colors would be the same behind the radio with just the rear speakers not connected?

i used 18ga wire. wires are the same color, the rear speakers are on their own plug by themselves so maybe you wont have that plug since your single cab

Just an update: bought a stinger LOC and it works great. Make sure it is grounded though or you might get a nasty hum.
