After searching for info on the Kenwood DPX503 on TW, I see that a few of you have installed them in your Taco's.

I'm looking at this model for my 03 Taco and want to see what you think about this unit after using it for a while.

I have read about the glare problem in the reviews, but is it that bad in the Taco's? My radio is kind of low in the dash, not like the newer Taco's.

2.5v preamp outputs...4(+)v would be better, imo.

I read your other thread man...didn't have any suggestions, so I didn't post there. FWIW, I sincerely doubt that your hu is the problem. Have you checked your sub-output volume on the hu (it's all I could think of)?

[EDIT: posted the above before I read your updated posts in your sub-problem thread...looks like I was wrong about it not being your hu....]

lol man believe me, ive been through everything on that head unit... i strongly doubt its my amp, but like i said, the tests i run tomorrow should tell me for sure... im just nervous cuz if it is my amp, i can tget my money back for that... the company i bought it from is a bunch of pricks who have no warranty, but i can probably get another through kicker... well see..

^ I know that the excelons have a lot of adjustments that can be made...is it possible that a setting is wonky on your hu?

i do imagine its very possible theres just a setting im unaware of. like i said i just got it last night and its very confusing... but all the settings that i know of that should be taken care of are done. the subwoofers are turnes on from the cd player... i have all the eq adjustments done... i mean theres not a while lot more... theres the sub level which ranges from -15db to +15db... i have it on 0. but i did try and crank it up. didnt do squat.
