I put in a Volant CAI and i LOVE the sound paired with my TRD exhaust.

The audio is pioneer AVH-3200BT head unit with a 10" MTX thunder sub and 2Ch amp. The sub box is courtesy of Mr. Marv (as you all know the man does great work). I installed everything my self thanks to the help and info i was able to find here. I will say that i am having one issue i tired the by pass to watch the video without having to be in park, but it did work so i am go to had a another look at all the connections, i think it might be the relay.

I would like it better if the box is carpeted or painted in darker color to match the behind, it looks somewhat ghetto in plain.

I think it's lookin pretty sick man, good stuff! But I have to agree with zeroendless, the sub needs to be painted or something, but it's all pretty badass!

hey thanks everyone. i think it sounds really clean, not to distorted from the sub. i am still running the stock speaker and i can't believe how, much better it sounds.

i agree with about the plain, i tested painted the back of it ans it didn't look so great so i am looking for somewhere i can get some carpet to wrap it a little later

Stop by your local car audio shop...they'll usually have a few rolls in a couple different colors so that they can do a same day install if needed. Some stingy shops might not let you buy it off of them because they want you to pay them to carpet the box, but it is super easy to do yourself, so just head to another shop.

Try unhooking your rear door speakers, you'll be surprised how much better your system will sound. Where do you have the low and high pass set on the head unit?

I painted my box & amp rack with duplicolor spray on bedliner. It matches the black plastic pretty well. I primed it, then sprayed two coats of bedliner.

I just got the same HU. How do you like it? I really wish it had a knob. I'm one of those that likes to turn it up, turn it down, switch song, turn it up, turn it down, switch song... :) I wish they had an option to plug in a volume knob and place it anywhere you want.

Me also, on most of your comments, but as far as a knob goes, buy the remote, you'll use it a lot more than you think.

I really like it, i was choosing between this one and the 4200DVD. Th reason that i choose this one is because it had the inputs on the front and not the back, but i know that some people don't like that. I am going to hook up the steering wheel adapter to i don't mind about the knob, but like t4daddy said you can get a remote.

I thought the usb on the front was cool too until i decided to keep my ipod connected all the time. Now I wish there was a rear ipod connection so I could hide the cable better. What's steering wheel adapter model so I can look it up?

I also bought a box from marv, i used the rattle can bedliner spray and it came out looking really nice. i used 2 cans but my box was a bit bigger than yours. i lightly sanded the box then sprayed the shit out of it. it only took 20 minutes or so to completely dry. Just FYI!!!!!
