custom box

I wana make my own box that fits two 10s and my question is wat type of wood do I use and any other materials I might need thanks for any help

 

mdf is the best.
be sure to glue and screw(or nail) it together. a sealed box needs to be perfectly airtight to work properly.
5/8" should be the minimum size mdf you should use.3/4 is better
be sure to build it with the amount of inside volume that your subs need.(look this up for whatever you plan to use.

I am not sure if you have made or are in the process of still making your sub box for two tens, but just in case you have trouble or anything, i am selling a custom box that has two shallow mount 10 inch kicker cvt's in it.

What's your reason for making it yourself?
