    i want to put some new speakers in my tacoma i am wondering what the best way to go about this is get whole new speaker that can produce alot of bass or what any ideas?:confused:

    there is a separate audio section which would be a good start

    bass is generally provided by a stand alone subwoofer in aftermarket applications

    I think you should read up on general audio information

    i know that but what i am saying is the stock speakers provide bass but if i were to put a good subwoofer in it wouldnt that damage the othe stock speakers

    Most aftermarket speakers will give you additional bass over the stock ones. Depends on how much bass you want.

    I just upgraded my speakers with the Pioneer TS Series. 6.5's in the back, 6x9's in the front.

    Coupled up with my Pioneer HU they sound awesome and give me the add bass I was looking for without having a sub woofer.

    I was able to get them brand new in the sealed box on ebay for less than $200 shipped for both sets.

    I bought the speaker adapters from Mr. Marv, and got wiring harness adapters from Best buy.

    All in my speaker upgrade cost me approx. $300.00.
