I've got a Rockford Fosgate P500-2 powering the JL Stealthbox and its enough to vibrate your face. More than plenty of Bass for most music if you power them correctly.

Definitely worth the money in my opinion and a clean easy install.

Cheaper? Absolutely. Better looking? Eh, opinions vary. Better sounding? No, that doesn't come "easily". Mr. Marv's work is outstanding to be sure. I'm a big fan of his. But there's no way anyone could achieve the same airspace with MDF that can be had with fiberglass. When I bought my stealthbox, I was paying (gladly) in part for the research and development of the unit. JL's team of engineers spent a lot of time tweaking, tuning and optimizing this enclosure to give the best possible performance in our trucks. Like other's have said, it won't win SPL competitions, but it's accurate, even, has great range and delivers a surprising thump for what it is. Just feed it good power. I absolutely love mine.

I just got the stealbox. I didnt knwo you had to drill a hole behind your cabin to anchor this thing down. I wish I didnt have to do that.
