Sub woofer enclosure using factory panels

I made this speaker box to fit a JL Audio 10 inch using the factory rear panels. The final pics will be posted on Monday. Box is made of fiberglass and Plexiglas back lit with red less.

I like this a lot. I admit to not having taken the panels off yet - how much air space is back there for the woofer enclosure?

About 2 cf at a max... And that would mean no amps behind the seat...

There is enough space for the JL 10 IN sub. I originally had a kick comp square ten. The mounting depth is too much. I was gonna go with all pioneer for the shallow mount 12. In stead chose all JL Audio mid highs crossovers, and of course for the Sub. I just like the sound JL offers. I made cut threw the rear cab brace and reinforced with flat bar. I cut in between the nuts so I could use factory mounting holes. Cut out the back of the plastic panel and then fiberglassed the entire thing, I inserted a one inch thick price of Plexiglas, primed painted factory black and texture, inserted red leds and there you have it. Final install pics will be be posted on Monday. I attached what I chose to do with the amp and inverter. Best of all you never know its there, everything fits like factory.

Never really thought about it. What type set up would go with? I guess we could start there.
