Can I get some help with a set up for my doors

I want to run all JL stuff .. What door speakers to buy what componets ?? For doors upfront and what speakers for the rear also. I have 4 door tacoma. And what amp to run with them. If you can give me details cuz I don't no a thing about about audio stuff so point me the right way. So I can order online. Thanks

Step 1:

Look through each category for what you want. Make sure to check out speakers (shop based on your budget) Subwoofers (anything above the W3 is too deep, but check out the stealth box they make for the Tacoma DC) and amplifiers (an XD700/5 or HD900/5, may be an XD600/6 should work for you)

Then dont forget to go to the "Connections" section for an amp kit and speaker wires.

IMPORTANT
Write down all of your choices - this will be used in step 4.

Step 3:
Once you have made your choices you can click the orange tab at the top of the page "JL Store", or simply click here

Step 4:
Find the products again, using the menus on the left. When you get to each one, click the "Add to Cart" button on the page.

Step 5:
In the "Cart" section, click "Checkout" and follow the steps online.

Step 6:
Find a local installer, or get ready to tear your truck apart on the install.

Step 7:
ROCK OUT!

ALTERNATIVE PLAN:

Go to a local shop and ask them. They will do all of the above for you, all you have to do is give them some $monies$.

 

C5 components 6.5" up front
C5 coaxials 6.5" in the rear
13.5" TW5 slim subs
HD 900/5 Amp to power everything

You need a new head unit or JL cleansweep with factory head. Don't forget the remote bass knob for subwoofers.

Yeah that jl 13tw5 sub is massive and I love it sucks you can't play it with the seats down because the. Seat brace is right up against it lol

 

That's 13.5tw5 sub. Will one work just fine ??

 

Other thing is if I run one sub will this amp work with everything included the doors speakers that wore named up above .. Will this amp work 700W RMS, 5-Channel Class D XD Series Car Amplifier

 

Yes, it will be great.

 

So that 700 watt amp will work just fine

 

The JL 900/5 pwns. If you can afford it I recommend that one.

 

Are the C3 just as good as the C5 ?

 

Ok guys I originally wanted to upgrade my doors not a sub. So if I stick the C5 upfront with 6.5 subs in the rear doors will that sound good ?? I want just a lil thump

 

I would not try to put a sub in the door because there will be no way to build a good enclosure using the door. You will not be able to get it solid enough so it will not rattle.

 

Ok then somebody help me out .. I want to upgrade my doors and thats it whats a good sound with JL stuff help I don't no thats why I'm asking u guys. Whats a 3 way componet. ?? Where do u install the 3rd speaker

 

Whats your budget? Knowing that I can help you out better.

A 3 way component set is one that has 3 speakers. You have a midbass, midrange, and a tweeter. You will not fit all three speakers without some custom work.

 

Well I no jl stuff not cheap so I'm looking to spend I no what a 3 way is I was just wondering where do they mount the 3rd speaker ?? And then what rear speakers just regular 6.5 in the rear with 600 watt HD amp
