I need to replace the non JBL stock head unit in my '11 TRD. For now, I am going to use the stock speakers which are fairly decent - but want a good head unit (iPod connections, aux input, Bluetooth) that will push the speakers a little more than the crappy stock unit. Looking for suggestions.

I just installed my kenwood excelon kdc-x995. has built-in bluetooth, hd radio, also has usb, aux-input, and a seperate input for the mic. Sounds great and is so much louder than the factory head unit.

Went with the Kenwood KIV 700, which was a decent deal from Crutchfield. Installation was pretty straightforward, but took some time. But sounds MUCH better than the factory. Even with the stock speakers.

x2 on the pioneer. I've got the 3300BT.

The SD card slot on the double din units make it worthwhile. Nothing like the clean look of no wires dangling or usb drive sticking out :D

I am a huge fan of Pioneers head units. I won't buy anything else. I actually just got my AVHP4300dvd in and it is sitting at my house waiting to be installed this weekend.
