I am thinking that I am going to get a Uniden and a firestik on Friday. I am going to see if my guys can install the cb behind the center console and slide the face under the radio. I remember seeing it in the site but I dont know where I saw it. There is some kind of wiring extension to put the face in a separate spot from the radio itself. It looks clean. The CB shop is going to tune it and boost it for me.

Wouldnt it just be easier to have your cb shop do it. Or even a truck shop? I dont know the first thing about setting it up though.

If I dont do that face plate mod I am going to set it in the same spot. I have the light bar in the bed so I will mount the antenna there. Looks good

yeah i really liked the idea of the guy taking apart his CB an installing it under his passanger seat, with the face plate in his center consule. cool idea but hard to do.
i went to home depot for the L bracket and the bolt, with a washer that held it into the rail system.

Well its great for offroading especially if everyone else has one. And then of course its good for long road trips bc the truckers know everything thats going on with the roads and they can help if you are looking for something and if you need help they are usually good to help.
