Aftermarket crossover necessary?

First off I love this site and appreciate all the info that I've gathered from it... great community.
Newbie.. quick question. I purchased an Infinity 6030cs component system and have an aftermarket stereo installed. My question is do I have to use the Infinity crossover or could i just replace the tweeter and 6.5 speaker. I can adjust all the necessary levels via my stereo, right?
I don't plan on adding a sub or amp.

 

Depends on your stereo, some will, most won't.

 

definitely use the crossovers, not sure why you wouldn't want to? You can hide them in the door. if you don't use them I would go get some capacitors to filter the low frequencies out or you will be burning up the tweeters on the first song.

You will blow up your tweeters if you don't use the crossovers.
