how much would a speaker upgrade be

how much would an upgrade be from stock speakers. i have a double cab and want i louder bass and just over all better speakers not the best on the market just ones that are louder. anyone know an estimated price with installation too?

keep in mind that aftermarket speakers are not going to give you the bass that it sounds like you are looking for. Aftermarket speakers are designed to be run with subs in order to create cleaner mids and highs to balance out the deep powerful lows of a sub.

also do you want to run the factory head unit or get an aftermarket one.

I really dont get why people pay for that shit...probably just so they can say they have the best..there are ways of gettin a kick as system and not completely destroying your wallet

 

Pride991 is right after market speakers are mention to have a woofer playing along with them. I don't care how good your speakers are they arnt going to play subsonic frequencies, atleast not at volumes above low without blowing the speaker. If you cant do the subwoofer then there are a few ways to get a little extra bass out of your door speakers. First the install, mount the speaker to a nice mdf baffle Install dynamat in your doors, and run higher Gage wire into your door. The wire will help deliver the sound to the speaker while the baffle and dynamite will make the speaker more solid in your door which will improve your mid bass. Add an amp, the speaker has a motor in it, give it the juice it needs and it will preform. Add an epicenter, this is not a must but if you listen to iPod or other forms of compressed music this will help recreate the bass waves lost in the compression process.

If you want an suggestions on brands I would ask your budget, on the high end if the scale 300 and up per pair I'd recommend focal, if you are in the mid range 100-300 I would say JL audio, and if your going cheap pioneer isn't so bad.
