so im completely upgrading my whole system and i was thinking of getting 2 10" subs and buying 1 of those mounts that go behind the back seat of a double cab. whats the biggest depth i should use for 2 10" subs behind double cab back seat. And if anyone has any recommendation of 2 10" subs and a mount to hold them that would be appreciated.

The size of the box should be determined by the cu. ft requirements of the sub. Kicker Comp VRs are pretty good. Im kind of biased towards Kicker, but whatev haha

Marv will chime in im sure but if I remember correctly 6" or 6.5" is maximum mounting depth. Also depending on your amps for the amp rack portion of the box airspace is a limiting factor as well. I personally am using a Sundown 1500D and Sundown 100.4 and was only able to get .46ft for each subwoofer. I run 2-10" Image Dynamics IDQv2 subs and they sound beautiful in the box although it is slightly small for them.

I thought I would also mention the Sundown SD1v2 would work wonderfully in the Tacoma as well if you can get .5-.9ft out of the box for each driver. ;)

becareful on the depth and the magnet width. I'd say you have 5 inches tops.

I'm running 2 Fosgate Shallow mount p310s in a supercrew box and they sound great. Got the box from supercrew and the subs off ebay new. Any box on ebay is going to work with these subs though, i could have saved some $$ that way I think. Good luck.

ya the boxes on ebay look just like that JL one but are only $100 and there is a store near me that has them for $100 aswell but i was thinking i would only have 5 inches it kinda of sucks though cuz there are alot of good ones at 5.5 inches depth so if anyone else has recommendations on 2 10" subs that will fit back there that would be cool
