Question New tunes !!!!

I'm upgrading my 09 DC sport and I just want to find out what size speakers I have in the truck. Also why is it that I need the "speaker rings" ( do I have 6x9 in the front and 6 1/2 in tje rear.. ???)

you should have 6x9's up front and 6.5's in the rear doors. the speaker rings are basically aftermarket speaker adapters. this helps you install your new aftermarket speakers without having to do any real modification to get the speakers to stay put, clearance, etc.

Hope this helped.

^^^ What he said... but, if you're like me and need a visual aid to get a feel for what you need check these links out. They both have excellent pictures and install info. Although the first link is for an Access Cab it'll still give you an idea what's going on behind the door panels. Good luck!

Any reason to go with the 6.5 all ther way around instead of the 6x9 ?

Round speakers make symmetric sounds which fit into your ear better....
