Eclipse nav option in a tx pro 2011 taco

I was at the dealer today and saw a TX 4x4 2011. It had the wood grain type dash kit and an eclipse nav system from factory. Looked like a std double din radio face plate.

Question is can the dash kit be purchased? Same for the eclipse? Assuming it has factory type connections that would be very nice.

anyone try this, or anyone have this in their ride and can share thoughts on look and function.

Where do you think I can find an aftermarket wood dash trim kit that works over a schosche double din. I have not seen any other than one from the factory/wherever toyota installs their nav option. The nav unit I am talking about is a 1200 toyota option or a part of the TX package, at least the one I saw. I suspect eclipse made that unit specific for toyota. They have done that before. First order of business for me is to see if I can find that wood trim kit from the TX w/eclipse nav as that should fit nicely on my double din schosche. thx for the response.

 

actually, theres a pretty good chance the eclipse will take factory style plugs. for years, the standard eclipse harnesses matched the factory toyota radio plugs.

 

it will but only in the non jbl truck eclipse has never made one that will plug into the jbl without a harnes. honestly eclipse used to be great stuff but these days id look at something else.

 

There is a 12 dollar jbl to non jbl adaptor I had to get for my eclipse

No... The kit came with a piece to cover a stock HU.
There are pics of my interior in my gallery...
If I knew then what I know now I would have spent the money on something else... Not worth the $300 I spent.
