Factory OEM 05-11 Navigation Headunit

I came accross this online... looks like factory navigation. Any idea what this is from (Tacoma from anther country?) or how well it works with available updates etc?

And yet another thread about this.

It is not an OEM unit. ATX Audio and Rosen make these units.

Wow. This is starting to be popular. So many threads asking about it. I wonder about its quality myself. I really like how it looks. My HU looks clean, but damn does this look factory.

The only thing that turns me off is the lack of XM or so it would seem.
Actually, if you look on the Rosen Website you can go with the new supersystem and get Sirius. The question is if it will work in Canada.

I think if I were in the market for a Nav unit I would get the supersystem. If only they accepted monopoly money...

These guys claim to be the lowest...

They charge quite a bit more for the amplifier adapter if you have the JBL system

I talk to a guy selling the ATX Toyota Nav on eBay, he said they will have the option for Satellite radio in the next few weeks. I like the stock look as well, but not sure how it will sound and compare to a pioneer, JVC, etc.

There are companies that make mounting kits for most new vehicles including the Tacoma to look like factory and you can choose whatever double din deck you want with the features that you want plus you can get a PAC module so you can utilize your steering wheel controls. Hope this helps.
